REWIND
LEGAL · SERVICE AGREEMENT

Terms of Service

Effective date: 28 October 2026 · Version 1.0

Operator details to complete before public launch: Soheil Zourak is identified as the project operator, but no postal address, contact email, business status, or chosen governing-law forum was provided. Add required legal contact information and obtain review for the countries where REWIND is offered.

These Terms of Service govern your account and access to REWIND, a browser-based platform for discovering community-created places, editing 3D scenes and interfaces, saving Luau source, customizing an avatar, publishing creator content, and submitting assets for review.

Operator: Soheil Zourak, operating the REWIND project. Contact: [Add the operator’s legal/service address and monitored email].

1. Acceptance and related rules

By selecting the acceptance control at signup or using an account after notice of updated terms, you agree to these Terms of Service and the separate Terms of Use. The Privacy Policy explains personal-data handling. If you do not agree, do not create or use an account. The Terms of Use govern content, creator rights, scripts, moderation, and prohibited conduct.

If you are a minor, read these terms with your parent or legal guardian. Your acceptance does not remove rights or protections that cannot legally be waived.

2. Eligibility and family supervision

REWIND may suspend an account where it reasonably believes the minimum age or supervision rules have been bypassed. A child or parent may ask for review through the contact details above.

3. Account registration and security

Choose a username that does not impersonate another person, violate rights, or expose sensitive personal information. Provide an accurate date of birth; email is optional in the current signup form. You are responsible for activity under your account, safeguarding your password, and telling REWIND promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not share account credentials or use another person’s account as your own.

REWIND may require account verification or reset credentials to protect the service. Usernames, account access, and moderation roles are provided for REWIND use and may not be sold, transferred, or rented.

4. The service and prototype status

REWIND is an evolving prototype. Features may be incomplete, changed, suspended, or unavailable. The current editor stores creator scenes and source code; its local Luau sandbox does not provide Roblox APIs, execute scripts on REWIND’s servers, or make a complete multiplayer game. Published-place discovery and asset moderation may change as the service develops. Do not rely on REWIND as the sole copy of valuable work; keep your own backups.

Access requires a compatible browser and internet connection. The service may be unavailable during maintenance, provider outages, security response, or circumstances outside the operator’s control. These terms do not promise a particular uptime, feature set, audience, or continued operation.

5. User content and license

You keep any ownership rights you already have in content you create or upload, subject to third-party rights. The separate Terms of Use describe the limited license REWIND needs to host, store, display, review, and distribute content as you direct. Do not upload content unless you have permission to grant that license.

6. Safety and moderation

REWIND may review, reject, restrict, remove, or disable content or accounts to enforce these terms, respond to reports, protect users, address legal claims, or maintain the service. Catalog icons, thumbnails, audio, decals, and models may remain pending until review. A moderation decision may be automated only for basic technical handling; human review may be used by the owner or asset moderators.

REWIND is not a real-time monitoring service. Users and guardians should report harmful content or conduct using [publish a working safety/report contact or reporting feature]. No direct messaging or voice chat is provided in this prototype.

7. Suspension and termination

You may stop using REWIND at any time. The prototype does not yet contain a self-service account deletion control; use the operator contact above to request account closure and associated-data deletion. REWIND may limit or suspend access for a breach, safety concern, legal obligation, prolonged risk to the platform, or service shutdown. When practical, REWIND will explain the reason and provide a way to appeal. Suspension does not remove rights or remedies that mandatory law gives you.

On account closure, access to saved places, scripts, avatar settings, and asset records may end. Deletion timing and exceptions are described in the Privacy Policy. Public copies or material already downloaded by others may not be fully retrievable.

8. Third-party services

REWIND relies on third-party hosting, database, and object-storage services. Their own terms may apply to your use of those services. REWIND is not responsible for independent third-party services, but this does not reduce any non-excludable rights you have against REWIND.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the prototype is provided on an “as available” basis, without promises that every feature will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible, secure in every circumstance, or suitable for a particular purpose. This does not exclude statutory warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss resulting from use of the prototype. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or personal injury where such exclusion is prohibited. Any liability limits must be interpreted subject to mandatory consumer-protection law.

10. Changes to the service or terms

REWIND may update the service and these terms. A revised version will show a new effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, REWIND will provide notice and, when required, request renewed agreement before continued use. You may stop using the service if you do not accept a change.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms do not choose a governing law or court because the operator’s establishment and the intended service territory have not been specified. Mandatory laws and consumer protections of your country of residence continue to apply. Add a reviewed governing-law and dispute-resolution clause after the operator’s establishment and target countries are confirmed; no clause may deprive a consumer of mandatory rights.

12. Contact

Questions, complaints, or account requests: [Add a monitored contact email and postal address before launch].
